Group Tour Information

We welcome individuals, school groups, civic clubs, churches and other community organizations year round. Individuals and groups can visit during museum hours or by special appointment. If a docent is required for a group, please call (434) 315-8775, ext. 1, to schedule.

Group tours are approximately 90 minutes. Visitors will experience a tour of the museum, the museum’s history and a short film. All visitors may browse the museum gift shop to purchase t-shirts, hats, mugs, tote bags, books and DVDs. These items are also available on our website.

The museum does not offer dining facilities; however accommodations can be made for those who wish to have their group function catered. Please contact (434) 315-8775, ext. 1, for more information.

The museum is ADA compliant for those with special needs. Bus parking is available in the adjacent Southgate Shopping Center.
